Responsibilities: I designed RV steel components in sheet metal, manufactured housing frames, and large welded structures. I helped implement SolidWorks with an integrated PDM system and ERP system. I also worked directly with customers on new designs and orders.

The machines typically included a mix of plastic injection molded, thermoformed, cast, machined and sheet metal parts as well as the electro-mechanical interface for the end-user of the equipment. I am a co-inventor on two U.S. Patents for my work in this industry.

Responsibilities: I designed analyzed and prototyped medical and surgical devices and pharmaceutical delivery systems. The device applications included cardiology, urology, fertility, orthopedic and emergency medicine. Most equipment designs utilized plastic injection molded parts, machined metal components and extruded plastics. I am a co-inventor on eight U.S. Patents for my work in this industry.

Electronic Service Tools, Diesel Engine Manufacturing

Years in Industry: 1

Responsibilities: I worked with a team to evaluate process improvement activities within the Electronic Service Tools group for engine programs ranging from well-established to new products. The cross-functional team documented the design process for diesel engine development programs, reducing the design cycle from 60 months to 30 months.
